Business Analyst Payments (Perm or Freelance)

One of our clients is looking for a Business Analyst to support in defining and implementing its digital vision and roadmap for banking channels, ensuring an optimal customer experience.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and maintain an overall detailed assessment of our compliancy in the context of regulatory topics such as European Accessibility Act, PSD2/PSD3 , in collaboration with Legal, Risk and Security departments
• Formalize recommendations for remediations and risk acceptance
• Coordinate identification, measure, evaluation, follow-up, reporting of all risks related to regulatory directives
• Ensure processes and procedures are adequately designed to meet regulatory requirements
• Ensure a governance role in RUN mode
• Support and/or monitor the compliance reporting to official instances such as the National Bank of Belgium, in coordination with Legal department and Advisory office.
• Act as the guardian of our regulatory compliancy across the bank
• Prepare interactions with the regulators
• Prepare report compliancy status to the Executive Committee and BNP Paribas Group on a regular basis
• Operate for a bankwide scope
• You will work closely with various teams in the organization (Legal, Operational Risks, Audit, IT, business experts, development teams ) and with regulatory initiative owners/program managers.

Profile:

• 5 to 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Knowledge of regulatory topics such as the European Accessibility Act, PSD2/PSR, and the Remote Sales Directive
• Knowledge of banking activities, specifically card and payment services.
• Knowledge of agile environment.
• Ability to conduct first-line assessments on an organization.
• Strong project management skills.
• Strong business analysis skills.
• Fluent in English and (French or Dutch)
