Business Analyst

Overview

2 New Business Analyst Contract Positions / Inside IR35 / 3 days a week in London / 8 months contract. Both roles require strong experience within the Oil & Gas industry.

Role 1

Business Analyst - Role 1

• Understand the dynamics of supply and demand in European energy markets.
• Collaborate with trading desks to understand pre-deal solutions.
• Apply technical experience and knowledge of trading instruments and products to business needs.

Role 2

Business Analyst - Role 2

• Expertise in commodity trading processes, particularly in European gas, power and emissions markets.
• Help select and integrate a new exchange platform for third-party execution and internal market transactions.
• Assist in consolidating current exchange platforms into a single source; requires exchange trading experience specialization.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Oil & Gas industry experience is required.
• Strong familiarity with European energy markets, trading desks, and pre-deal solutions (Role 1).
• Experience with commodity trading processes and exchange platform selection/implementation (Role 2).
