Role Title: Business Analyst
Location: Hybrid - Manchester - Travel to Client Office Expected
Duration: 6 months
Rate: £400 Inside IR25
Clearance: BPSS

Must Have Experience with:

• Payments
• collections and recoveries

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements.
• Work within Agile delivery teams to define user needs, journeys, and acceptance criteria.
• Ensure alignment with GDS service standards and best practices.
• Support the development of product roadmaps, epics, and user stories.
• Conduct gap analysis and identify areas for process improvement.
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and requirement-gathering sessions.
• Collaborate with UX/UI teams to enhance digital service design.
• Assist in defining success metrics and evaluating service performance.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience as a Business Analyst in government or public sector projects.
• Knowledge of GDS service design principles and GDS assessment processes.
• Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum/Kanban).
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to write clear user stories and define acceptance criteria.
• Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Miro, or Trello.
