This is a *UK* based role with an excellent immediate start within a Public Sector organisation working on *Inspecting construction works for quality and compliance.*

We are recruiting 5 experienced Clerk of Works/Site Inspectors to support major public sector construction and estates programmes in various locations

A great opportunity for experienced construction professionals who enjoy being out on site, inspecting works and ensuring projects are delivered safely, correctly and to specification.

The role

• Inspect construction works for quality and compliance
• Identify defects, snagging and remedial works
• Ensure compliance with Building Regulations, H&S and contract specifications
• Maintain inspection records and work closely with contractors/project teams
• One day per week at base, with the remainder visiting sites

What we're looking for

• Strong construction, site inspection or building control background
• Experience of quality control, snagging and specification compliance
• HNC/HND in Construction Management, Building Surveying, Civil Engineering or similar - OR substantial relevant experience
• Full UK Driving Licence
• ICWCI/CIOB membership desirable

Experience within Government, Defence, public sector, local authorities, social housing or major estates programmes would be particularly attractive.
