Looking for a chef role with daytime hours and every weekend off?

We're recruiting a Breakfast & Pastry Chef to join the catering team at a prestigious independent school in Sevenoaks. Working with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, you'll help prepare breakfast for boarding students before producing homemade desserts for around 700 lunches each day.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef who enjoys baking, thrives in a busy kitchen and is looking for an excellent work-life balance.

The Role

• Prepare cooked and continental breakfasts
• Support lunch, hospitality and special events
• Cater for dietary requirements
• Maintain excellent food hygiene and HACCP standards
• Support the Head Chef and deputise when required

About You

You'll ideally have experience as a:

• Breakfast Chef
• Pastry Chef
• School Chef
• Contract Catering Chef
• High Volume Catering Chef

You'll also have:

• Experience producing quality food in a busy kitchen
• Excellent organisation and time management
• A passion for fresh food
• Strong food hygiene standards
• A positive, flexible approach and great teamwork skills
