Hours: 30 hours per week Monday to Friday 7.00am to 9.00am & 2.15pm to 6.15pm
Contract: Permanent Term Time

Are you passionate about working with children and creating fun, engaging experiences that help them thrive? Oakfields Preparatory School is looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Breakfast & After School Club Assistant to join our friendly team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play an important role in pupils' daily school experience, providing a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment where children can learn, play, build friendships and develop confidence before and after the school day.

If you enjoy working with children, have plenty of energy and creativity, and want a role where no two days are the same, we'd love to hear from you.As a Breakfast & After School Club Assistant, you'll help deliver high-quality wraparound care for our pupils, ensuring every child feels safe, supported and encouraged to take part in a range of exciting activities.

Working alongside a dedicated team, you'll help create positive experiences that support children's wellbeing, independence and social development while maintaining the highest standards of care and safeguarding.

What you will be doing

• Welcoming and supervising pupils before and after the school day.
• Supporting a variety of fun, creative and age-appropriate activities.
• Preparing and serving healthy snacks and refreshments.
• Encouraging positive behaviour, inclusion and friendship-building.
• Supporting pupils' emotional wellbeing and confidence.
• Maintaining a safe, clean and engaging environment.
• Keeping attendance records and following collection procedures.
• Assisting with the set-up and tidy-up of club areas and resources.

Experience working with children in a childcare or school setting with a NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or related qualification is desirable.
