Dublin 4, Simmonscourt. Hybrid - 2 days in the office, 3 days remote.

Overview

Irish Distillers, a Pernod Ricard company, produces premium Irish whiskeys including Jameson, Redbreast, and Midleton Very Rare. The Prestige team focuses on luxury and high end spirits brands. As Brand Manager, you will lead the development of the Midleton Very Rare brand within the Prestige Whiskey category, working closely with the Marketing Manager and reporting to the Head of Brand Architecture and Planning in the UK.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of the brand's social and digital strategy, including content planning, campaign development, platform management, performance tracking, and optimisation in partnership with agencies and lead markets.
  • Support new prestige product development projects for Midleton Very Rare, covering liquid development, packaging development, and marketing launch plans.
  • Manage external communications and events in collaboration with the global trade PR agency and internal PR & Experiential team.
  • Coordinate marketing activities for Midleton Very Rare, including content development, events, and point of sale material, in cooperation with agencies and lead markets.
  • Oversee the Prestige Single Cask programme for Midleton Very Rare, from liquid development through to delivery.
  • Manage P&L and the innovation stage gate processes for new product development.
  • Plan and prepare workshops, events, and meetings, and manage the brand budget, purchase orders, and invoicing through SAP.
  • Support the Midleton Marketing Manager with day to day management of both lead and non lead markets for Midleton Very Rare.
  • Assist the wider Prestige portfolio with key initiatives, launches, and activations as required.
Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of brand marketing experience with exposure to the full marketing mix, ideally with global brands.
  • Proven digital/online experience and strong understanding of digital campaign marketing methodologies.
  • Experience in NPD / innovation from development through to launch is advantageous.
  • Proven content development experience with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
  • Strong project management skills with a proven record of delivering end to end projects from creative development to execution.
  • Knowledge of and passion for Prestige Whiskey and whiskey production processes is a distinct advantage.
  • Strong commercial and numerical acumen with attention to detail.
  • Experience in agency management and engagement is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
