Contract Duration: 12 weeks (variable depending on term time and vacation periods)
The Role and DepartmentThis is a casual internship opportunity with the Department of Anthropology. The role involves building a website for the Special Interest Group in Indigenous and Colonial Studies (SIGICS) on Durham University's WordPress platform, including collecting information from SIGICS members. It would suit a student with existing skills and experience in web page development. You will plan and prioritise your own work, adhere to agreed deliverables and timeframes, and refer any workload or timeframe issues to your supervisors. You will liaise with relevant IT staff to address technical issues. The work can be done from home or on-site from any computer with access to WordPress.

- Good spoken and written communication skills.
- Advanced digital skills including the ability to construct websites.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Experience of working in a team.
- Ability to manage time to meet deadlines.
- Ability to follow instructions, spoken or written, accurately.
- Experience using WordPress is an advantage.
