Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for a Bordereaux Analyst to join a high performing London Market insurer in a broad and hands on role. You will play a key part in the end to end management of bordereaux across a diverse delegated authority portfolio, working closely with underwriting teams and external partners to ensure data is accurate, timely and adds real value to the business. The role offers strong exposure across claims, risk and premium data, alongside the opportunity to act as a subject matter expert within the team. With close interaction across stakeholders and involvement in data quality, reporting and process improvement, this is a great move for someone looking to build depth and visibility in delegated authority.

Key responsibilities
  • Supporting the end to end processing, validation and mapping of claims, risk and premium bordereaux
  • Working closely with internal teams and outsourced partners to ensure bordereaux is processed accurately and within agreed service levels
  • Acting as a key point of contact for bordereaux queries, supporting underwriters, brokers and coverholders
  • Investigating data issues, identifying root causes and driving improvements to mapping and processes
  • Supporting financial reconciliation across bordereaux, internal systems and reporting tools
  • Assisting with monthly reporting, audit actions and regulatory requirements
  • Monitoring data quality and ensuring any issues are identified, escalated and resolved in a timely manner
  • Producing accurate reporting and KPIs to support performance monitoring and decision making
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders across underwriting, claims and delegated authority teams
  • Supporting wider team initiatives and contributing to continuous improvement across bordereaux processes
Experience you'll need
  • Experience working in a bordereaux focused role within the Lloyd's or London Market
  • Understanding of claims, risk and premium bordereaux processing and data structures
  • Experience working with outsourced providers or third party partners is beneficial
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence handling large datasets
  • Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem solving
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and engage effectively with stakeholders
  • Experience of claims bordereaux would be advantageous
