Role Description

Need an experienced Blue Yonder Order Management System (BY OMS) Solution Architect to lead the implementation of OMS within our large-scale E-commerce enterprise landscape. You will work with BY own solution architecture team on implementation strategy for integrating Blue Yonder OMS with existing ERP systems and Legacy order management platforms.

The Solution Architect will serve as the technical leader and primary liaison between business stakeholders and development teams, ensuring that the BY OMS implementation aligns with enterprise architecture standards and delivers measurable business value. This position requires deep expertise in microservices-based, API-first, and cloud-native architectures that characterize modern Blue Yonder solutions.

What candidate is needed

• Blue Yonder Platform Knowledge: 5+ years of hands-on experience with Blue Yonder (or any other OMS) implementation
• experience integrating Blue Yonder solutions with major ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and Legacy order management systems
• Strong expertise in cloud-native architecture
• Advanced knowledge of API design patterns, RESTful services, and microservices architecture principles
• Data Architecture: Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases, data migration strategies, and Real Time data processing systems
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and define business needs, translating them into technical solutions.
• Expertise in managing data migration challenges and customizing solutions to meet client requirements.
• Strong understanding of compliance standards within the retail domain and ability to oversee technological risks.
• Excellent English communication skills at a B2+ level, with the ability to engage effectively with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors.

• Lead the design and implementation of OMS solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborate with end users and stakeholders to gather requirements and promote solution designs.
• Conduct rough order magnitude estimates for scoping and solution architecture initiatives.
• Coordinate ongoing activities, translating design concepts into operational IT processes.
• Facilitate regular meetings with client managers and development teams to ensure project alignment.
• Analyze business properties and external environments to identify opportunities for innovation and optimization.
• Create and maintain comprehensive architectural artifacts including solution architecture, application context diagrams, application architecture diagrams, and application activity diagrams
• Develop and validate ADRs to document critical architectural decisions and their rationale
• Define and validate NFRs ensuring scalability, performance, security, and reliability standards are met
• Create detailed data flow diagrams that illustrate information movement across the integrated ecosystem
