We are seeking a dedicated and highly motivated individualto join our Europe research team as a Team Leader based in London.

You'll lead a group that produces primary research andanalysis on the transition to a low-carbon economy in Europe. We're looking forsomeone who naturally forms original opinions, and who has an outstandingability to communicate these to your audience. Teamwork is important to you,and you understand how healthy debates and advise on solid conclusions. We wantsomeone who has a keen desire to help those around them develop. You will alsobe supporting request from clients and supporting business development.

We'll trust you to:

• Lead,mentor, and manage a team of dedicated analysts while maintaining espritde corps among the group

• Leadall aspects of the team's output and research pipeline including marketoutlooks, analyst reactions and tailored reports on key questions thatrequire a cross-sectoral lens and deep regional expertise

• Playa meaningful role in determining BNEF's overall business strategy andresearch agenda for Europe by both listening to and giving input tomanagement and the commercial team

• Deliveroutstanding analysis on how the latest developments in policy, technologyand finance are changing the long-term outlook for the energy mix Europe

• Producelong-term energy scenarios for Europe and European countries.

• Beresponsible for the Europe's contributions to global BNEF reports andcrafting spin-off reports specific to the region

• Writeinsightful, important research that advises BNEF clients worldwide whileaffirming the BNEF brand both within and beyond the industry

• Editall BNEF research produced by the Europe regional team and ensure it is ofexcellent quality

• Be akey voice on the industry for current clients, potential clients, themedia, public-policy leaders, and others

• Presentour research in multiple platforms such as conferences and webinarsregularly, clearly communicate it to clients and prospects

• Answerclient requests and support business development through client engagement

• Collaboratewith a high degree of integrity with colleagues and clients from differentcountries and cultures

• Builda network of key energy transition partners in Brussels and across Europe

You'll need to have:

• Abroad and comprehensive understanding of the energy industry, with aEurope focus. This includes a knowledge of decarbonization pathways acrosspower, transport, buildings and industry and their interplay withcommodity markets

• Proficient,professional English to support research and client queries and to presentBNEF research in public settings

• Ademonstrated ability to "connect-the-dots" between diverseresearch areas, including policy, economics, finance, markets andtechnology. This includes getting up to speed and integrating new insightsand topics into our thinking quickly and pragmatically

• Excellentquantitative skills, and comfort working with large datasets and models

• Substantialexperience articulating ideas in writing and verbally to a range ofaudiences, including industry experts and key policy makers.

• Excellentclient facing skills and passion to represent the product both internallyand externally.

• Thetime management skills and confidence to balance working on multipleprojects at once

• Abilityto think critically and develop thoughtful opinions by cutting through thenoise of data, extracting key patterns, applying skepticism to the claimsof industry participants and asking insightful questions

• ABachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Economics,Finance, Engineering, Science, Mathematics, Humanities or other relevantsubjects

We'd love to see:

• Priorexperience in mentorship, management of a team or development of others

• Creativeand flexible approach to people and project management

• Proficiencyin other European languages
