Senior Qualified Social Worker - Child Protection / Child in Need (CP/CIN) Team

Pay Rate: £30.57 per hour (Umbrella)
Location: B6 4DU, Birmingham

Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Qualified Social Worker to join the Child Protection / Child in Need (CP/CIN) Team at Birmingham Children's Trust.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy frontline team, managing complex Child Protection and Child in Need cases while supporting children and families through effective assessment, intervention and safeguarding. As a Senior Social Worker, you will also provide guidance and mentoring to colleagues, promoting high-quality practice and positive outcomes.

Key Skills Required:

• Experience within Child Protection, Child in Need, Safeguarding or Assessment Teams
• Strong knowledge of statutory children's social care legislation and safeguarding practice
• Experience managing complex caseloads and completing statutory assessments
• Ability to support and mentor less experienced practitioners
• Excellent communication, report writing and multi-agency working skills
• Social Work England registration required

Essential Requirements:

• Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
• Registered with Social Work EnglandPrevious experience within Children's Services
• Strong knowledge of statutory safeguarding legislation and children's social care practice
