Job Description

If successful, this offers an immediate start.

Working alongside an experienced team of 3 to 4 people you will be responsible for the safe loading and unloading of refuse trucks.

In your role as a Refuse Operative you will make collections of

• Residential and commercial garden waste
• Glass
• General waste

Due to the nature of the role, you can expect heavy lifting and extensive walking.

Duration: This position offers full time hours on an ongoing basis, with the potential of a permanent position

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: First 12 weeks £12.21 per hour. After 12 weeks £13.09 per hour. Any overtime is paid at time and a half

Working Hours: The hours of work will be Monday to Friday, starting at 05:45 and finishing at 1345.

Experience & Qualifications

Experience is not necessary as all training will be provided, however applicants must have the following:-

• A great work ethic
• The ability to lift over 10kg
• Great customer service
• The ability to work well within a team
