Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Bid Writing Executive with exceptional English communication and writing abilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing clear, compelling, and compliant bid responses for clients, assisting them in improving their chances of winning UK and Ireland tenders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse tender documents (RFPs, RFQs, ITTs) from the UK and Ireland markets.
  • Prepare, write, and format high quality bid responses, proposal documents, capability statements, and supporting materials.
  • Work closely with clients to gather required information, understand their strengths, and articulate value propositions effectively.
  • Ensure all submissions are compliant with tender requirements, guidelines, and deadlines.
  • Maintain a library of reusable content, templates, and past responses.
  • Conduct research on contracting authorities, competition, and sector specific requirements.
  • Manage multiple bids simultaneously and deliver polished outputs within tight timelines.
  • Coordinate with the sales and tender information teams to align bid strategy and client requirements.
  • Uphold the highest standards of written communication for a UK audience.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience.
  • Proven experience as a Bid Writer, Proposal Writer, or Tender Executive, ideally for UK and Ireland markets.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills - grammar, clarity, structure, tone.
  • Strong understanding of the UK public procurement process and tendering terminology.
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and convert them into persuasive content.
  • High attention to detail and strong editing/proofreading skills.
  • Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, and related documentation tools.
  • Ability to manage deadlines, prioritise tasks, and work independently.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
