What You'll Do

1. Lead research streams involving senior internal stakeholders and external collaborators (PALs, EC members, HBS, WEF, MIT).
2. Drive the research portfolio for C&ET, setting strategy for research streams, topics, external partnerships, and collaborations, and managing internal teaming within BCG.
3. Author and support high-impact content through various channels such as publications, journals, podcasts, TED Talks, etc., in collaboration with Fellows, Ambassadors, and the Insights Leader.
4. Manage all Ambassadors (mostly senior consultants up to Principal level) working in the C&ET team, overseeing their work and acting as the interface with leadership.
5. Lead external relations, including engaging senior BCG clients, testing and deepening relationships, and presenting research findings and academic partnerships.
6. Collaborate with PAs, Specialty Businesses, M&C functions, etc.
7. Translate research into commercial offerings by teaming with BCG functions to develop the commercial agenda.
8. Create a visible external presence to enhance BCG's reputation on climate and energy transition issues.
9. Deepen CEO relationships and collaborate with BCG CCOs to bring insights to clients.
10. As BHI 2030 evolves, potentially expand research streams and portfolio management as regional and functional leadership are established.

What You'll Bring

• PhD or equivalent research and writing experience for over 10 years.
• Proven publishing record and senior client credibility.
• Ability to translate research into practical client insights for commercial impact.
