BC Functional Specialist - Senior

Our clients are looking for a Senior Functional Specialist in D365 Business Central, with proven experience and a passion for the work. You know how to break down and improve business processes and can clearly show how BC can support clients and help them grow.

You should feel confident working across finance, supply chain, production, and warehouse flows. You've got enough experience to challenge clients on their current setup and guide them toward better ways of working. You know how to configure BC properly, tailor it to what the client actually needs, and find the right balance between standard functionality and smart customisations.

You also understand how to handle integrations, whether it's plug-ins, add-ons, or third-party systems. You focus on sticking with standard features wherever possible, because you know that's what really benefits the client in the long run.

You'll be hands on throughout the whole project. That includes analysing processes, leading workshops, supporting development and testing, managing data migration, training users, and more. You know how important this stuff is, and when things go wrong, you're the kind of person who steps up and fixes it.

You'll also be mentoring junior consultants. You know how to delegate, coach, and support them when they hit a wall. You want to see them grow while keeping the client experience smooth and stress free.

You'll get involved in presales too. That means working with the sales team to understand client needs and delivering demos that clearly show the value of BC. You let the product speak for itself, backed by your own confidence and knowledge.

ABOUT YOU

• You've got at least 3 years of experience as a Functional Consultant on D365 BC projects
• You have a strong client first mindset and are comfortable running projects yourself
• You've worked across different modules and understand how to line up processes with BC's capabilities
• A degree in IT or business helps, but what really counts is your motivation and hands on knowledge
• You bring a positive attitude and are always looking for ways to add value
