Location: Sunlight House, Unilever Campus, Kingston upon Thames
Salary: £14.80 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week, 5 days per week, flexible shifts between 6:00am and 5:00pm
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
We're looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Barista / Food Service Assistant to join our catering team at the new Unilever Campus in Kingston upon Thames.
In this varied role, you'll prepare and serve high-quality coffees and beverages, support food service operations, and help deliver an outstanding customer experience in a busy corporate environment. What you'll do- Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold drinks to company standards.
- Provide excellent customer service with every interaction.
- Support food preparation and service throughout the day.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness across all catering areas.
- Replenish, rotate and manage stock correctly.
- Carry out manual handling tasks safely.
- Follow food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures at all times.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
- A friendly, professional and customer-focused approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience in a café, barista or catering environment is desirable but not essential.
- An eye for detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
- Knowledge of stock rotation and manual handling procedures is beneficial.
- Flexibility to work shifts between 6:00am and 5:00pm.
