Bank Residential Team Leader at Abbott House

Salary: £15.30 per hour

Hours: Bank - Zero hours

Shift Times: Bank 0hr contract. As/when required

Shaw healthcare is looking for a passionate and caring Bank Team Leader who is ready to make a positive impact at Abbott House, situated in Oundle. The purpose built service provides residential and nursing care for older people with physical frailty, and for older people living with dementia.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead by example, providing guidance and support on shift to promote best practice
• Administer and record medication safely in line with Shaw policies and procedures
• Report changes in residents needs or well being promptly to the Line Manager
• Communicate effectively with residents, families and colleagues
• Maintain accurate and up to date care plans and documentation

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience working with older people in residential care
• You will have completed or be working toward your NVQ/QCF Level 3 Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
• You will need to be flexible, patient, caring, organised and great with people
• Ability to lead a team and use own initiative
