Bank Maintenance Assistant

We are looking for a skilled Bank Maintenance Assistant with a passion for making a difference to others. You'll have the opportunity to work bank shifts (Shifts from Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm) across 3 separate Cygnet Hospital Bury services, helping provide a safe and healthy environment for the people in our care.

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive maintenance & repair service
• Carry out a range of tasks including basic joinery, plumbing, painting & general building work
• Maintain equipment and services, including Planned Preventative Maintenance checks
• Comply with safe working practices & report faulty equipment and potential hazards
• Travel to other sites on occasions to cover absence/emergency repairs
• Flexibility & commitment to work beyond normal working hours when required to complete works/maintain safety & security
• Check the fire alarm points weekly, including fire exits, door retaining devices & fire emergency lights

You are (Qualifications & Skills)

• Experienced in a similar role, or have worked in a self-employed capacity in recent years
• Willing to travel & hold a full valid driving licence
• Able to communicate at all levels & record detailed, accurate maintenance information
• Skilled at DIY & general maintenance
• Preferably experienced in the electrical/plumbing/construction industry
• Friendly, conscientious & an excellent team member with a positive attitude
