Bank Kitchen Assistant/Cook

Requirements

• Minimum of 12 months on your right to work.
• Background within kitchens and understanding of how to run a professional kitchen.
• Knowledge of the IDDSI framework or support complex dietary requirements is desirable.
• Must be flexible to work weekends and/or during the week between 7am 4pm.
• At present, visa sponsorship is not offered.
• This is a bank contract.

Responsibilities A day in the life of a cook

• Menu planning - collaborate with the home manager and residents to develop and implement menu ideas, including themed days and events.
• Understanding dietary needs - work closely with staff to meet residents' specific nutritional and dietary needs, including modified food textures and allergies.
• Kitchen management - main point of contact for kitchen, responsible for day to day running of stock management and hygiene standards.
