Bank Cook

Job Summary

Agincare is looking for a chef/cook to work in a care home kitchen, providing high quality meals to residents with diverse dietary needs.

Responsibilities

• Menu planning in collaboration with the home manager and residents.
• Understanding and meeting specific dietary needs, including modified food textures and allergies.
• Managing kitchen operations, stock, and hygiene standards.
• Working with themed days and events to showcase culinary skills.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Minimum 12 months of right to work in the UK.
• Background in professional kitchens and understanding of kitchen operations.
• Knowledge of the IDDSI framework or similar dietary requirements is desirable.
• Flexible to work weekends and/or weekdays between 7 am-4 pm as a bank contract.
