Bank Cleaner / Domestic Services Assistant

Do you have a natural flair for achieving a high standard of cleanliness and take pride in your work?
We are looking for experienced cleaners to support our existing cleaning team on an ad hoc basis.
The work will mainly be on Saturdays and Sundays, but there could be some occasions where you will be needed to work during the week.
You will be joining a Domestic Services Team who are responsible for cleaning our School, which includes residential accommodation for our pupils and communal areas and bathrooms.
This is a physical job that involves lifting and carrying of cleaning appliances such as vacuum cleaners and mops and buckets as well as using other cleaning apparatus as instructed. When cleaning you will be vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, emptying bins, cleaning toilets, dusting surfaces, and dealing with other tasks as required. As part of your role, you will ensure all chemicals are used and stored correctly according to COSHH regulations full training will be given. Our buildings are located over several floors and the work will, in some areas, require climbing flights of stairs.
Contractual DetailsSalary: £13.78 per hour
Hours: 7.00am-3.00pm
Work Pattern: Ad hoc dependant on School requirements
Contract: Zero Hours Contract

Driving would be an advantage as Downside School is in a rural village with a limited public transport service.
