Bank Chef at Glebe House

Bank Chef - £17.44 per hour

Shaw Healthcare is looking for a Bank Chef to join the team at Glebe House in Southbourne. You will work with the Home Manager, Nutritional Therapist and staff to provide high quality, home cooked meals for residents and others, ensuring that all dietary needs are met.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and serve meals for residents and others in a timely manner.
• Provide a varied diet and cater for cultural preferences of service users.
• Cater for celebrations and other events in the Home.
• Order supplies within the catering budget and company policy guidelines, using approved suppliers when the senior cook is absent.
• Maintain accurate catering records in accordance with HACCP.
• Participate in inspections by Environmental Health and/or care regulators and local authorities.
• Maintain a high standard of hygiene in the kitchen by adhering to HACCP and COSHH guidelines.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and healthy working environment by ensuring adherence to Health & Safety and welfare policies.
• Manage the catering team when required.

Salary: £17.44 per hour

Working hours: Bank 0hr contract. As / when required.
