Rate:£34 - £39 per hour

The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 8a Specialist Pharmacist to join our Haematology & Oncology team on a full-time basis. This is a temporary position for 6 weeks, starting as soon as possible.

Duties and Responsibilities:

You will provide specialist pharmaceutical care to haematology and oncology patients. You will ensure the safe and effective use of medicines within the department. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. You will conduct clinical audits and contribute to service development.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Essential:
    • Up to date GPhC registration.
    • Relevant Pharmacy qualification.
    • Hospital experience as a pharmacist.
    • Must hold a BOPA SACT passport.
    • Proven experience in haematology and oncology pharmacy.
  • Desirable:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
