Band 7 Locum Senior Physiotherapist - Urgent Care Therapy Team (Tunbridge Wells)

Contract Type: Locum. Start Date: ASAP. Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week (covering 7 day service, 8 AM - 8 PM) across A&E and the Frailty Unit. Duration: 12 weeks. Rate: £29 - £32 per hour.

• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients in A&E and the Frailty Unit, identifying physiotherapy needs and developing appropriate treatment plans.
• Implement evidence based interventions to facilitate recovery and enhance patient mobility.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care across the urgent care spectrum.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of a 7 day service, providing support and expertise during shifts.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff and support workers, fostering their professional development and ensuring high standards of care.
• Maintain accurate and up to date documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and outcomes in line with professional standards and organisational policies.

• Registered Physiotherapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Relevant degree in Physiotherapy.
• Significant experience in an urgent care or emergency setting, especially within A&E and frailty services.
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to delivering patient centred care and improving patient outcomes.
