Band 3 Finance Officer

An established public sector organisation is seeking a Finance Officer to join their busy finance team. This organisation provides essential community services and offers a supportive, values driven working environment.

Your new role
As Finance Officer, you will support the delivery of client financial services and ensure accurate processing of financial information. Working as part of a friendly team, your key duties will include:

• Entering and updating client details on internal finance systems.
• Processing payments, invoices, placements, admissions and discharges.
• Managing referrals, issuing financial forms and tracking returns.
• Preparing financial documents, contracts and correspondence.
• Updating internal records.
• Providing general administrative support to the wider team.

What you'll need to succeed

• At least 1 year's finance experience
  OR
  5 GCSEs (A-C) including Maths and English , or equivalent.
• Confident use of Microsoft Excel.
