Role Title: Bakery and Pastry Chef
Location: Yale
Contract Type: Permanent, Full time
Salary: £27,500 - £29,451
We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Bakery and Pastry Chef to join our vibrant team at our flagship Iâl Coffee Shop and Restaurant. This is your chance to make your mark across our new, modern college and off site outlets, creating and delivering homemade baked products to hundreds of students and the wider community.
Why this role is different: You won't just be baking; you'll be shaping the future of hospitality by mentoring the next generation of culinary talent.
Essential Requirements- At least 3 years previous experience of working in a kitchen environment at a similar level.
- Passion and enthusiasm for bakery, with experience of bread baking. Experience of making sourdough is desirable.
- Excellent knowledge of current trends in food and food production.
- Ability to determine priorities and make decisions, supported by excellent organisational skills.
- Basic food hygiene.
- Able to motivate and identify appropriate development opportunities for team members.
Welsh skills are desirable for this specific post. We are seeking candidates who can help us grow our bilingual provision and service.
