Position Summary

This role, within the Platform Engineering Backup team, requires solid experience with Backup technologies, primarily Veeam. It involves implementing, supporting, and monitoring Backup systems, with opportunities for training and career progression.

Role Mission

To build reliable platforms and ensure optimal operation of backup technologies, supporting long-term customer relationships and service stability.

Objectives & Key Results

• Support and maintain Backup systems effectively.
• Deploy Backup infrastructure for various platforms and clients.
• Become a technical expert in Backup technologies.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Participate in problem management and incident resolution.
• Support and enhance existing Backup solutions.
• Serve as an escalation point, including on-call duties.
• Engage in projects and support tasks as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of vendor technologies.

Position Specifications Behavioural competencies

• Motivated, eager to learn, proactive.
• Organized with excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Critical competencies

• 3+ years' experience with backup technologies.
• Veeam v10/v11/v12 expertise, including Cloud Connect.
• Experience with Veeam on cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of storage, hypervisors, and documentation.

Highly desirable

• Veeam VMCE certification.
• Experience with Veeam in cloud environments.
