Backbook Sales Executive

An exciting opportunity to join a growing sales team within Global Payments, focused on driving revenue from our existing customer base.
We're looking for a target driven sales professional who thrives on upselling, cross selling, and closing deals over the phone. This role is focused on unlocking value within an existing customer base-not cold calling or prospecting for potential pipeline.
You'll work with warm customers to identify opportunities, pitch solutions, and convert sales, playing a key role in driving business growth.
What Part Will You Play?- Proactively contact existing customers to identify and close upsell opportunities
- Own the full sales cycle from discovery through to close
- Deliver compelling product pitches and proposals
- Cross sell and upsell payment solutions to maximise account value
- Handle inbound calls and convert them into sales opportunities
- Build strong relationships while maintaining a clear focus on revenue generation
- Accurately manage pipeline, activity, and sales outcomes in CRM
- Stay up to date with products, pricing, and payments industry trends
Success is measured on revenue generated, conversion rates, and KPI performance.
What Are We Looking For in This Role?- 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, telesales, or revenue growth roles
- Proven track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong closing skills, objection handling, and commercial awareness
- Confident selling over the phone in a fast paced, target driven environment
- Experience in upselling, cross selling, or retention sales highly desirable
- Resilient, competitive, and motivated by earnings and performance
- Competitive base salary + uncapped commission (OTE €49K+ accelerator bonus for over achievers)
