B2B Marketing Manager
Manchester City Centre c.£50,000 + Career-Defining Growth Opportunity + a package that includes an EMI share option!
Build a Brand. Shape a Story. Drive Growth.
This is not a typical Marketing Manager opportunity.
It's a chance to become the first dedicated marketing hire in a high-growth consultancy that is disrupting a traditional professional services market and winning work that many established competitors would envy.
In just two years, this entrepreneurial business has built an impressive reputation, secured transformational client projects, assembled a talented team of specialists and grown to a position where it is on course to generate £seven figure revenue. All organically. All founder-led. All with a clear vision for what comes next.
Now, they're looking for a commercially-minded B2B marketer to help accelerate that journey.
Working closely with the founder and leadership team, you'll take ownership of how the business is positioned, perceived and promoted. You'll work closely with the founder but have the freedom to shape the brand, influence strategy and build a modern marketing engine designed to support ambitious growth plans. Those plans will be accelerated in 2027 by the launch of their proprietary Ai driven SAAS tool which has been in beta development this year.
For a talented Marketing Executive ready for the next step, or an established Marketing Manager looking for greater influence and autonomy, this is a genuinely rare opportunity to make a visible impact.
The Opportunity
The business advises ambitious organisations undergoing transformation, helping leadership teams improve performance, implement new technology, redesign operating models and unlock efficiencies.
Their client portfolio includes:
- Fast-growing AI-enabled technology businesses
- Venture-backed software organisations
- Market-leading pharma companies
- PE-backed businesses undertaking transformation programmes
- Major organisations implementing ERP and business-critical software platforms
Their work sits at the intersection of business, technology and transformation. The challenge now is ensuring the market truly understands the value they create.
That's where you come in.
You'll be responsible for refining and elevating the company's brand presence, creating a clearer market proposition and building a compelling narrative that showcases both their expertise and culture.
What You'll Be Doing
Brand & Content
- Own and evolve the company brand and marketing strategy
- Refine messaging and positioning across all channels
- Create compelling content that brings client success stories to life
- Develop a distinct and consistent brand voice
- Ensure the business stands out in a crowded professional services market
Digital & Social
- Oversee the ongoing development of the website
- Improve user journeys and lead generation opportunities
- Shape the firm's social media presence, particularly LinkedIn
- Create engaging campaigns that drive awareness, engagement and credibility
- Leverage AI and marketing technology to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Events & Market Visibility
- Develop thought leadership campaigns
- Support events, roundtables and networking initiatives
- Increase visibility amongst senior decision-makers
- Create opportunities for the leadership team to showcase expertise and build relationships
Commercial Growth & Go-To-Market
This is where the opportunity becomes particularly exciting.
Alongside traditional marketing responsibilities, you'll play a key role in helping shape the company's go-to-market strategy.
You'll help develop processes, marketing automation, lead generation activities and commercial funnel management, ensuring marketing activity contributes directly to revenue growth.
For candidates who have experience building scalable marketing operations, commercial funnels or AI-enabled growth engines, there is scope for the role to evolve significantly.
What We're Looking For
We're interested in ambitious marketers who can combine creativity with commercial thinking.
You'll likely bring:
- B2B marketing experience
- Exposure to professional services, technology, SaaS, software or consulting environments
- Strong content and storytelling capability
- Experience managing websites, social channels and digital campaigns
- A data-driven approach to decision making
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of how marketing contributes to revenue growth
- Curiosity around AI, automation and modern marketing technology
Most importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys building rather than maintaining.
You won't be inheriting a large team or significant budget.
You'll be creating, influencing, experimenting and making things happen.
Why Join?
- First dedicated marketing hire with genuine ownership and autonomy
- Direct access to an inspirational founder and leadership team
- Opportunity to shape a high-growth business at a pivotal stage in its journey
- Exposure to ambitious technology, SaaS, private equity and transformation projects
- Outstanding Manchester city-centre offices
- Fast-moving, entrepreneurial and highly collaborative culture
- Clear opportunity for progression into a future Head of Marketing or CMO-level position as the business scales
The Bottom Line
If you're looking for a role where you can genuinely influence a company's future, build a brand with purpose and help drive the next stage of growth for a business that's already proving its model, we'd love to hear from you.
This is the type of opportunity that rarely comes to market: high growth, founder-led, commercially successful and only just getting started.
