Azure Platform Engineer 6 months Remote Active NPPV3/SC Clearance required £680 per day inside IR35 Role Description and Location

An Azure Platform Engineer who can successfully integrate a mobile application with a Kubernetes based backend needs a blend of cloud architecture depth, DevOps maturity, and application integration awareness. Someone who can bridge mobile app needs with cloud native infrastructure in a secure, scalable way.

Core Technical Attributes

• Azure Cloud Expertise
• Strong command of Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)

• Experience with Azure API Management for exposing backend services to mobile apps
• Familiarity with Azure Functions, Event Grid, Service Bus, and other integration services
• Understanding of Azure networking: VNets, private endpoints, Application Gateway, WAF, load balancers
• Knowledge of Azure Identity (Azure AD, Managed Identities, OAuth2, OpenID Connect)
• Kubernetes & Containerization
• Proficiency with containerization (Docker)

• Ability to design and operate production grade AKS clusters
• Experience with Helm, Kustomize, or other deployment templating tools
• Understanding of service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd, or Azure native Open Service Mesh)
• Observability stack experience: Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Azure Monitor
