Azure DevOps Architect/Snr Engineer- 1 year | Warwick (2-3 Days per week)

We're recruiting for an Azure DevOps Architect to design and implement reliable build systems, cloud infrastructure, and software delivery workflows for a leading organisation. This role spans Azure platform engineering, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and Kubernetes platform management, bridging development teams and IT operations to build scalable, secure, and cost-optimised cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure and shared platform services
• Develop and maintain Azure landing zones aligned with governance and security standards
• Build scalable, resilient, and cost-optimised cloud environments
• Manage Azure subscriptions, resource groups, networking, identity, and access controls
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and platform deployments; create reusable modules and templates to standardise cloud deployments
• Implement configuration management and infrastructure compliance checks
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions
• Implement GitOps practices for platform and application deployment automation
• Automate application, infrastructure, and container deployment processes; support release management and environment provisioning
• Design, deploy, and manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters

What You Will Ideally Bring:

• Mastery of Azure services, networking, and identity management (RBAC)
• Expertise in Git branching strategies and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong background bridging development teams and IT operations
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Experience with CI/CD tooling (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) and GitOps practices

Contract Details:

• Duration: 12 months
• Rate: £470/day - Inside IR35
• Location: Warwick(Hybrid - 2-3 days on-site)
• Start Date: ASAP
