Azure Cloud Engineer

What will you do?

• Manage the lifecycle of clusters where the platform runs in containers, ensuring the scalability needed to support millions of monthly communications.
• Use Terraform to deploy and maintain the entire cloud infrastructure in an automated and reproducible manner.
• Administer virtual machines, databases, and Azure Key Vault to ensure data availability and security.
• Assist in the design and management of network solutions in Azure, including VNETs, Load Balancers, and Firewalls, with a focus on high availability.
• Apply security best practices through Azure Security Center and ensure the platform complies with data protection and privacy standards.
• Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to automate builds, deployments, and platform maintenance tasks.
• Proactively seek ways to improve deployment efficiency and system reliability.
• Use tools for monitoring and log analysis, ensuring visibility into the infrastructure's status.
• Resolve complex incidents in production environments that require constant availability and high-level reliability.

What are we looking for?

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or a similar role.
• Has experience with Azure Cloud, including AKS (Kubernetes), virtual machines, databases, and Key Vault.
• Comfortable supporting the design, deployment, and management of scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure.
• Has strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, ideally with Terraform.
• Can design and manage networking solutions in Azure (virtual networks, load balancers, firewalls).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Understands cloud security best practices and has experience with Azure Security Centre and similar tools.
• Can ensure compliance with regulatory standards related to data protection and privacy.
• Has experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk.
