Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-level Azure cloud solutions that meet business requirements and technical standards.
• Develop comprehensive cloud architecture strategies, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust cloud solutions.
• Provide hands on guidance during the deployment of Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, and security components.
• Establish best practices for cloud security, compliance, and governance.
• Monitor cloud environments for performance, optimise configurations, and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Document architecture frameworks, standards, and operational procedures for ongoing maintenance and scalability.
• Proven experience as an Azure Solutions Architect or cloud architect with a strong understanding of Azure cloud platform services.
• Advanced knowledge of Azure architecture design principles, security, and compliance standards.
• Hands on experience with deployment, configuration, and management of Azure resources.
• Familiarity with IaC tools such as ARM templates, Terraform, or similar.
• Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
• Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, are highly desirable.
• Experience with hybrid cloud environments and integration with on premises infrastructure.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines within Azure.
• Strong understanding of cloud cost optimisation strategies.
