Azure Platform Engineer - £450 - £550

Edinburgh/Hybrid (ideally 3 days onsite)

6-month contract (initial) - Inside IR35

BrightPurple is looking for an Azure Platform Engineer for a contract role in Edinburgh. Key skills are Azure and Terraform. The role is inside IR35 and ideally 50% onsite in central Edinburgh. Infrastructure as code and automation are key aspects of this role for an enterprise financial services company. Cloud experience with Azure and other relevant providers (AWS/GCP) are also important.

What you'll be doing

• Helping existing and future apps run on Azure.
• Using Terraform to automate the Azure ecosystem.
• Creating an environment where code can be easily shipped, stored, and protected in Azure.
• Contributing to future cloud strategy and helping with architecture.

What you'll bring

• Excellent cloud experience, preferably in a financial services environment.
• Terraform experience to help automate and promote infrastructure as code.
• AWS and GCP experience highly beneficial.
