Looking for an exciting career opportunity in IT? Join this excellent company as an AWS Platform Engineer within the Insurance Technology sector. This role will involve maintaining compliance of company infrastructure, reliability of the AWS platform and undertaking improvements based on best practice.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure
• Assist senior engineers in resolving technical issues
• Monitor cloud performance and ensure uptime
• Perform backups and disaster recovery testing
• Oversee and support Junior Engineer tasks
• Monitor and manage CI/CD pipelines
• Assist with infrastructure via Terraform and scripting (Bash/Python)

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Solid cloud platform knowledge - AWS
• Experience with backups, disaster recovery, and snapshots
• Familiar with containers (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS)
• Proficient in Windows, macOS, Linux, and system software
• Confident in Linux admin and Bash/Python scripting
• Experienced with Git and collaborative workflows
• Understands CI/CD and agile practices
• Hands-on with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Networking, VPNs, and firewalls experience.

This role is fully remote position but candidates must be based in the UK.
