Job Description
About The Role
The One Aftersales team are recruiting for an Automotive Technical Support Team Manager at Volkswagen Group UK. This is a full time permanent position and will be in based in Milton Keynes on a hybrid basis.What you could be doing:
- Reporting into the Technical Support Manager you will be responsible for managing a team of Technical Support Specialists whilst delivering brand and group targets through effective management of the technical resource in collaboration with the Technical Service Centre (TSC) Manager and through Customer Service Centre (CSC) management of escalated cases.
- Essentially providing our Group network (all 6 brands) with high quality technical support/resolutions via group approved contact systems and software (DISS/ODIS), remote diagnosis or dealer on site visits, all as a result of a technical enquiry.
- Taking ownership of information and guidance provided with a customer centric approach whilst meeting group global targets for quality and response.
- Proactively drive case resolution by either remote support or hands-on repair guidance/coaching collaborating with the Customer Service Centre, Technical Service Centre, brands, factories and National Learning Centre to ensure customer satisfaction / resolution.
- Documenting lessons learnt and addressing knowledge gaps to ensure preventive measures are implemented.
- Ensuring effective, timely communication and resolutions are made available to our dealers on the most appropriate media platform - this may include regional, European and possible international presentations.
- You'll identify and influence process improvement to ensure our dealers are suitably supported on determining the best options for our customers and ensuring the most efficient solution is driven through proactive communication and technology.
- Wide experience in all aspects of vehicle repairs and network operations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to relay information effectively at all levels.
- Proven success in managing people and projects.
- Excellent customer handling skills.
