Automotive System Test Engineer

We've partnered with an innovative organisation developing advanced wireless battery management technology.

We're looking for a System Test Engineer for a 12-month contract to support complex, safety-critical automotive platforms.

With the rapid growth of electric vehicles and renewable energy, these systems play a critical role in improving performance, safety and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Drive system-level test strategy and execution for key programs
• Work with architects and designers to understand requirements, specifications and implementations
• Develop and execute comprehensive validation plansli>
• Define long-term test roadmaps, capabilities, flows and methodologies to improve productivity
• Identify and test corner cases beyond specifications to uncover marginalities and risks
• Specify and support development of hardware and software needed to automate test coverage

Skills Required

• Systems engineering and/or formal testing of complex (ideally automotive) systems
• AUTOSAR experience advantageous
• Embedded C/C++ and Python or other scripting languages
• Strong hardware and software troubleshooting
• Familiarity with compiler/debug tools (IAR, Keil, Segger, etc.)
• Version control and regression testing (Git, Bitbucket, SVN)
• Analog and mixed-signal board knowledge
• Comfortable using oscilloscopes, spectrum/logic analyzers and hardware debug tools
• Collaborative team player with strong communication skills
• Proactive, hands-on, fast learner

Education & Work Experience

• BSc/BEng in Electronic or Computer Engineering (MSc preferred)
• 5+ years
