Automotive Electrical Engineer - Wiring Harness Development (all genders)

We are a leading engineering partner in the automotive industry, supporting OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers in the development of complex vehicle electrical systems and wiring harness architectures.

We are strengthening our team in the field of wiring harness development and are looking for an experienced developer with strong hands-on expertise in automotive E/E systems.

Your responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development of vehicle wiring harness systems (LV/HV) from concept phase to series production
• Create and update 3D wiring harness models (e.g. CATIA V5 or Siemens NX) and related 2D documentation
• Support the routing and packaging of wiring harnesses within the vehicle considering space, thermal and EMC aspects
• Work with connectors, components and electrical interfaces within the vehicle system
• Assist with engineering changes, documentation updates and data maintenance in customer systems (e.g. Teamcenter, KVS)
• Collaborate with experienced engineers, OEMs and suppliers throughout the development process

Your profile:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or a comparable field
• First experience or academic projects related to vehicle electrical systems or wiring harness development
• Basic knowledge of CAD tools such as CATIA V5 or Siemens NX is an advantage
• Interest in automotive E/E systems, wiring harnesses and vehicle integration
• Structured way of working and willingness to learn in a team environment
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in international projects
• Fluent in English (German is a plus)

Your role in the project:

You will combine detailed technical work with overall coordination responsibility.

In addition to independently designing and further developing cable assemblies, you will oversee the development scope to ensure timely implementation through to series production.
