Role Overview We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer to join our dynamic team in Digital Services and Analytics (DS&A). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Manual & automation testing, particularly with Selenium, and experience in Java programming. Familiarity with cloud technologies and DevOps practices is a plus for this role. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on project requirements and design specifications Execute test cases and conduct both manual and automated testing to ensure product quality Identify, record, document, and track software defects and collaborate with the development team to resolve issues Work closely with software developers to understand product architecture and technical requirements Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks and tools Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings Provide clear and concise feedback to the development team regarding product quality and potential areas for improvement Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products Stay abreast of industry best practices, tools, and technologies related to software testing and quality assurance. Preferred Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Proven experience as a Software Test Engineer or similar role Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes Experience in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts Proficiency in both manual and automated testing tools and frameworks Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++ Exposure to Selenium, IntelliJ, GITHUB, JMeter Knowledge of agile development methodologies and practices Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and collaboration abilities Attention to detail and a passion for ensuring software quality Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Desirable Qualifications: Proficiency in Test Automation tools like Selenium Webdriver, SmartBear Test complete, GitLab, IntelliJ & TestNG Framework. Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner). Knowledge of API testing and tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured). Familiarity with Test Management tools like Microfocus ALM. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
