The Opportunity:

Finatal is partnering with an exciting Spanish private equity fund to appoint an experienced Automation & Analytics Lead to drive operational efficiency across its portfolio companies. This is a rare opportunity to join a hands-on, value creation-focused operating team - at the core of digital transformation.

We're looking for a fluent Spanish speaker with deep automation expertise and a strong track record of delivering tech-enabled process improvements inside businesses. If you thrive on solving real-world operational challenges and scaling impact across customer service and operational workflows, this role is for you.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Identify, scope, and deliver automation initiatives across portfolio companies (e.g. RPA, OCR, workflow tools)
  • Lead on digital transformation within operational teams (logistics, financial ops etc)
  • Collaborate with portfolio company leadership to roll out scalable tools and process improvements
  • Focus on operational excellence across multiple portfolio companies
  • Provide hands-on support to build internal capabilities across automation, tooling, and analytics


We are particularly interested in individuals with experience in one or more of the following areas:


  • Digital Operations Consulting with a focused on process automation and efficiency
  • RPA & Workflow Engineers: Practical implementation experience with UiPath, Power Automate, etc
  • Data-Driven Operations Experts with experience in SQL, Python, automation in operations
  • Internal Operators from Scale-Ups: SaaS or Logistics experience compulsory.


Candidate Essentials:


  • c.10 years of experience in automation, operations, or digital transformation
  • Deep technical fluency in process improvement tools and data automation
  • Fluent Spanish speaker (professional experience in Spain desired)
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to operate at board and exec level
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Barcelona
