Description To support our central Audit Quality and Compliance function we are looking to recruit an individual who is enthusiastic about audit quality and continuous improvement. This role will sit within the central Compliance Team, reporting into the Associate Director for Audit Quality.
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities • Audit File Reviews: Perform engagement quality control reviews, hot and cold file reviews.
• Technical Advisory: Respond to technical queries with clarity and precision, while identifying common themes and trends.
• Guidance Development: Create and share guidance on emerging topics, changes in standards, and findings from reviews.
• Training: Design and deliver targeted training across the firm.
• Collaboration: Work closely with UK offices to promote consistent and high-quality audit practices.
• Quality Control: Help build and maintain strong audit quality procedures.
Key Requirements
Key Requirements • Professionally qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent).
• Strong experience in external audit, technical accounting, and audit file reviews.
Experience:
- Strong experience in external audit, quality control, audit file reviewing, and technical accounting.
Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of auditing standards, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in audit software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
