Audit Senior with Sustainability Reporting experience - the Netherlands

Due to the EU CSR Directive, Noord Global are looking for financial auditors who have some experience/knowledge in sustainability reporting for new opportunities across the Netherlands.

Main responsibilities

• Leading and managing audit engagements to ensure they are delivered on time and within budget
• Supervising and coaching junior staff to help them achieve their full potential
• Reviewing financial statements and ensuring they comply with accounting standards and regulations
• Communicating effectively with clients to understand their needs and address any concerns
• Collaborating with team members to identify audit risks and develop appropriate strategies to mitigate them
• Staying updated with industry trends, standards, and regulatory requirements
• Contributing to the development of methodologies and practices within the firm

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in finance, accounting, sustainability, or related field
• 4+ years of Big 4 (financial) audit experience
• Experience, knowledge (or a strong motivation to work) on sustainability reporting engagements
