Location: West London
Full-time Permanent Hybrid working available
Salary: 32,000 - 45,000 (depending on experience and qualification level)

The Firm:

A well-established and growing accountancy practice based in West London is looking to strengthen its audit team with the addition of an Audit Semi Senior or Senior. The firm works with a diverse portfolio of clients across sectors including property, retail, professional services, and not-for-profit. With a focus on delivering high-quality service in a supportive and forward-thinking environment, the team values collaboration, technical excellence, and long-term development.

The Role:

This position offers a blend of audit and accounts work, with an emphasis on supporting audit assignments from planning through to completion. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, assist junior staff, and play a hands-on role in delivering a high standard of compliance and advisory support.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the planning, execution, and completion of audits for a varied client base

  • Preparing audit files and working papers in accordance with firm standards

  • Drafting statutory financial statements under UK GAAP / FRS 102

  • Identifying and communicating any audit issues clearly with managers/partners

  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members on-site and in the office

  • Liaising directly with clients to maintain strong working relationships

  • Working closely with senior team members on complex jobs or specialist engagements

Candidate Profile:
  • ACA part-qualified or finalist (essential)

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in an accountancy practice environment (essential)

  • Good exposure to audit fieldwork and statutory accounts preparation

  • Working knowledge of FRS 102 and UK GAAP

  • Confident communicator, both with colleagues and clients

  • Proactive, organised, and able to manage workloads effectively

  • Familiarity with audit/accounting software such as CCH, CaseWare, or IRIS is desirable
