Audit Manager / Senior Manager job in Woking with a clear route to progression and exposure to a high-quality, audit-focused client portfolio.

Fletcher George Recruitment is supporting a well-established and growing firm of Chartered Accountants in Woking. This opportunity will suit an experienced Audit Manager or an established Senior Manager looking to step into a role with greater autonomy, client ownership and long-term progression.

The Role

You will take ownership of a portfolio of audit clients, working closely with Partners and senior leadership while supporting the development of the wider team.

Responsibilities include managing an audit-focused client portfolio, overseeing the preparation and review of financial statements under FRS 102 and IFRS, leading audits through to completion with minimal supervision, and acting as a key point of contact for clients.

You will attend and contribute to client meetings, manage workflow and deadlines across multiple assignments, and play an active role in developing and mentoring junior team members. There is also the opportunity to contribute to business development activities, building and maintaining strong client relationships.

About You

You will be ACA or ACCA qualified with strong audit experience gained within an accountancy practice.

You will have experience leading audits, including group audits and consolidated accounts, and be confident managing multiple assignments and stakeholders. Strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to build lasting relationships with both clients and colleagues.

This role will suit someone who enjoys taking ownership, supporting team development and contributing to the wider success of a growing firm.

Salary, Benefits & Working Environment

Salary range of £65,000 - £85,000 depending on experience, with flexibility for the right individual, particularly where there is potential to step into a more senior leadership role over time.
