Audit Director

Artemis Human Capital is delighted to be working with a leading NI firm as they seek to appoint an Audit Director in a newly created role to support with the practice's ambitious growth plans. As Audit Director, you will oversee the delivery of exceptional service to the firm's impressive portfolio of NI-based clients, while also playing a key role in the mentoring and development of the wider team.

The Job

Working closely with the firm's senior leadership, you will be involved across the following areas:

• Lead & manage a portfolio of external audit engagements with clients across a variety of sectors.
• Oversee the end-to-end audit process- from planning through to completion.
• Ensure audit projects are delivered in line with quality, compliance & regulatory standards.
• Lead, mentor, & develop a team of professionals- supporting with technical and professional growth.
• Manage project timelines, budgets & resource allocation.
• Build & maintain strong client relationships.

The Ideal Candidate

To be considered for this opportunity, you must possess the following criteria:

• ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Experience working in a high performing audit team.
• Already working at director level, or 3+ years experience at associate director/senior manager level.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proven management experience.
