Up to £34,000 per annum (pro rata, depending on experience)

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly respected professional services organisation.Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Audio Typist to join their friendly and collaborative Quality Assurance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with strong transcription and proofreading skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Transcribe audio dictation accurately and efficiently (minimum 80 wpm required)
• Produce high-quality written reports, including building surveys, using MS Word templates
• Proofread and edit documents to ensure accuracy in spelling, grammar, and punctuation
• Manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
• Provide administrative and telephone support when required
• Liaise with internal teams and respond to queries via CRM systems

Skills & Experience

• Proven audio typing experience (use of foot pedals essential)
• Excellent command of the English language
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload
• Effective listening and concentration skills
• Confident written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word

Desirable

• Previous experience within a property or surveying environment would be advantageous, though full training will be provided
