Job Description
Assumptions Actuary

Location: London (3 days a week)

We are working with a well-known, highly reputable client to fill the role of Assumptions Actuary.

Role Overview: In this position, you will lead the assumption setting process across Solvency II and IFRS bases. You will collaborate with stakeholders including Risk, Reporting, and Deal teams, take ownership of key assumptions and calibrations, present recommendations to senior leadership, and contribute to wider change initiatives within the Finance teams.

Ideal Candidate:

  1. Strong experience in a life insurance or consultancy environment
  2. Background in assumption setting and/or experience analyses, ideally within annuity valuation
  3. Solid technical knowledge of Solvency II (UK) and IFRS frameworks
  4. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  5. FIA qualification (or equivalent)
