We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Business Analyst to join our Data Governance Team, supporting our ongoing work on the BCBS 239 initiative. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with some experience in data quality, data governance, or financial services, who is ready to take the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities:
As part of the Data Governance Team, you will:
Assist in the delivery of the BCBS 239 data governance program.
Support stakeholder workshops to understand requirements related to data quality and reporting.
Help document data governance processes and identify improvement areas.
Work with teams across Finance, Risk, and Audit to ensure alignment with regulatory standards.
Maintain and track data quality issues, definitions, and metrics.
Support gap analyses against BCBS 239 principles and assist in remediation planning.
Must have Skills and Experience:
Familiar with data governance or data quality practices, ideally in a financial or regulatory environment.
Aware of or has some knowledge of BCBS 239
An effective communicator, able to work with stakeholders across various teams.
Comfortable documenting business requirements and participating in analysis activities.
Proactive, curious, and eager to grow within the data governance and regulatory domain.
2-5 years' experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role.
Exposure to finance, risk, audit, or regulatory reporting functions.
Experience working with data management frameworks is a plus.
Strong organisational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
