Associate Town Planner

An exciting opportunity for as Associate Town Planner to join a growing planning consultancy and contribute to a diverse portfolio of high-profile projects across the UK. You'll be part of a collaborative and supportive team with clear pathways for career development working on impactful projects from day one - from urban extensions to city-centre regeneration, residential, commercial and major renewables - and be a key voice in client strategy, planning submissions, and project leadership.
What you'll be doing:- Leading planning applications, appeals & local plan promotions.
- Advising on major residential, mixed-use schemes and brownfield urban schemes.
- Building trusted client relationships and mentoring/managing juniors.
- Bringing fresh ideas to a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
- 6+ years' planning experience, ideally MRTPI.
- Strong planning knowledge and a knack for strategy.
- Confident communicator with a proactive, ambitious mindset.
- Passion for shaping sustainable places.
- Salary: £50k - £60k based on experience.
- Real progression to Associate and beyond.
- Flexible, supportive team with autonomy from day one.
- A clear role in shaping the future of the Manchester office.
